Notice on Visa Facilitation for Applicants Inoculated with Chinese COVID-19 Vaccines

To resume people-to-people exchanges between China and other countries in an orderly way, starting from June 9, 2021, the Chinese Embassy in the Trinidad and Tobago will provide the following facilitation for visa applicants inoculated with Chinese COVID-19 vaccines and obtained the vaccination certificate:

1. Foreign nationals and their family members visiting the mainland of China for resuming work and production in various fields can prepare and submit visa applications according to the requirements before the COVID-19 pandemic.

2. Foreign family members of Chinese citizens or permanent residents, including spouse, parents, children and other close relatives living together (i.e. siblings, grandparents and grandchildren), may prepare and submit visa applications  according to the requirements before the COVID-19 pandemic, for the purposes of reuniting with family, taking care of the elderly, visiting relatives, attending funerals or visiting critically ill relatives.

3. Holders of valid APEC business travel cards may apply for the M visa by presenting the original valid APEC business travel card and the invitation letter issued by the inviting party in the mainland of China.

Reminder:

1. The above-mentioned visa facilitation applies only to applicants inoculated with Chinese COVID-19 vaccines (either having received two doses of vaccines with the stipulated gap in between, or having received a single-dose vaccine at least 14 days before the application) and obtained the vaccination certificate.

2. The airline boarding requirements by China for Certificates of Negative Nucleic Acid and Anti-Body Blood Tests Results remain unchanged. For detailed information please refer to the notice published on November 7, 2020, on the Embassy website (http://tt.china-embassy.org/eng/sgxw/t1831526.htm).

3. Upon entering China, please abide by China’s regulations on quarantine and observation.

4. Applicants are asked to first send an email to chinaembtt@gmail.com for information about application procedure and required documents. After receiving confirmation from the Embassy, applicants can come to the Embassy and submit visa applications.

5.Applicants who provide forged vaccination certificates or visa application documents will be blacklisted by the Embassy.
